PHIL BERNIER

Phil is a Smithers-born Realtor with over five years of experience serving the Bulkley Valley. A proud local who grew up in Smithers and chose to raise a family here, drawn back by the lifestyle, community, and connection to the outdoors that make the valley so special.

Phil’s commitment to his clients and results-driven approach have earned him the MLS® Award Winner distinction in 2021, 2024, and 2025, a recognition of consistent performance and trusted service within the BC Northern Real Estate Board.

Before entering real estate, Phil built a career in leadership, events, and community relations. After completing post-secondary education in Calgary, he spent years working with Alpine Canada, including contributing to the 2010 Olympic Games, and later served as Business Development and Community Relations Director at BV Electric. These roles sharpened his communication skills, work ethic, and ability to manage complex, fast-paced environments.

Known for his approachable style and clear communication, Phil believes real estate should feel informed, organized, and manageable. He takes pride in truly understanding his clients’ needs and guiding them confidently through every step of the process.

Carlee is Smithers-born with over 20 years of experience in finance, lending, and financial strategy. Her career includes work as a Realtor in Alberta, a Mortgage Broker in British Columbia, and senior leadership within the credit union system—bringing a depth of financial insight.

With a strong foundation in community-focused leadership, Carlee spent many years with the Bulkley Valley Credit Union, helping guide responsible lending and financial decision-making for individuals, families, and businesses across Northern BC. She continues her commitment to community through her work as Executive Director with the Bulkley Valley Health Care and Hospital Foundation.

Carlee helps clients feel financially prepared and confident throughout the real estate process. She is proud to live, work, and contribute to the long-term health of the Bulkley Valley community.
